It was on this day in 1981 that my buddies and I were huddled in front of the television checking out the latest way to enjoy music, MTV.  No one knew what to expect, which made it even more exciting.  It was time, the countdown had started, the rocket launched, and the first video began. The Buggles, Video Killed the Radio Star. I still can’t get that song out of my head, and I haven’t heard it in years. There were some great videos, sometimes the videos were better than the song. There were also some real stinkers like Fish Heads, do you remember that one? I’m still not exactly sure what that was all about. To commemorate the beginning of our short-lived video channel, here are some winners and losers, in my opinion.  Do you have any videos to add to this?
