Today my fellow veterans and I honor USCG Commander Mike Smith served with distinction in the for 21 years. A graduate of the USCG Academy in 1975, he dedicated his career to serving afloat, in staff positions, and in operations ashore. His commitment to duty and his leadership was top rate throughout his service.
