KONO salutes Colonel Nathan T. Colunga, Commander of the Special Warfare Training Wing, Second Air Force, Air Education and Training Command, Joint Base San Antonio-Chapman Training Annex, Texas. The Special Warfare Training Wing provides initial and advanced skills training for Air Force ground combat forces.

Tory Christopher was born in Wiesbaden, Germany while his dad was on Tour of Duty with the USAF. He grew up in San Antonio and moved to California at age 19, where he became a professional Roller Derby skater with the Los Angeles Thunderbirds while attending broadcasting school.
