He’s only 6 years old, but he saw the problem and he acted. Bella was with her 6-year-old grandson at the playground when she heard him shout “No! No!”. She looked up to see him standing in front of a girl about his age, blocking her from getting on the stairs to the slide. Bella was all ready to apologize to the girl’s mom, she just didn’t know what had gotten into him. Turns out, he’d seen the girl’s shoelace was untied and afraid she would trip and fall on the stairs. The girl’s mom retied both of her shoes, just to be sure. Crisis averted. Thanks to the sharp eyed 6-year-old for giving us an extra reason to smile and feel good this morning.
