Thump, thump, thump against the nightstand. It was Hank’s heavy tail just before Joseph felt the wet nose. Hank is their new puppy. He’s part Dachshund, part Basset Hound and full of puppy energy. His enthusiasm toward life made Joseph think of this. He says, “I think that maybe God gave us dogs to remind us of how to really live. They are wonderful examples of how to love unconditionally, to give affection easily, and to live life with a sense of playfulness and joyful abandon. What a wonderful way to live.”  I couldn’t agree more and thank you, Joseph and Hank for giving us an extra reason to smile and feel good this morning.
