MAPLE GROVE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Michigan State Police said a tragic accident claimed the life of a young boy working in a field with his father.
The 7-year-old boy was riding on a trailer being pulled by a bulldozer driven by his father, when he fell from the trailer and was run over by the bulldozer, WOOD-TV reported.
The child was pronounced dead at the scene, WXMI reported. No names have been released.
In a press release, investigators said they did not believe drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident.
