Robot bear developed to help the elderly
If you can't bring a polar bear to Singapore, then why not build one? The country's researchers have developed an empathetic, robotic polar bear to serve as a companion for the elderly. It can read and respond to human emotions and has become a welcome guest at one of Singapore's elderly care facilities.
