JetBlue pilot blinded by green laser
"Fox & Friends" reports on a very scary trend happening to pilots. "A JetBlue pilot suffering a minor eye injury after a plane he's flying in, targeted by a laser pointer." The pilot was still able to land the plane safely. This isn't the first time someone thought it was funny to mess with a pilot using a laser. "Good Morning America" reports there were more than 3,500 documented laser incidents in 2011. Last week in San Francisco, a green laser beam targeted two planes.
