ST. ARNOLD'S: SPECIAL RELEASE TASTING Brock Wagner, St. Arnold's Brewmaster (For Ages 21 & Up) FEATURED BREW MASTER. TASTING. You'll enjoy a tasting led by the Brewmaster that includes the Bishop's Barrel series of releases that have been barrel aged. The barrels have been chosen to enhance and complement the characteristics of the underlying beers and the aging times range from a few months to well over a year. Selections from the Divine Reserve series will also be included. You'll sample:
St. Arnold's Bishop's Barrel No. 1, a Bourbon Barrel Imperial Stout with a nose that is all bourbon & chocolate;
St. Arnold's Bishop's Barrel No. 2: an Old Ale aged in Chardonnay Barrels with Cherries (a beer for those who like their beers a little funky);
St. Arnold's Bishop's Barrel No. 3: a Bourbon Imperial Stout that is a Russian Imperial Stout-style beer;
St. Arnold's Bishop's Barrel No. 4: Bourbon Barrel Weizenbock with Cocoa Nibs, with bourbon, chocolate & banana on the nose;
St. Arnold Divine Reserve No 10: an English Barleywine with malt and alcohol dominating & a pleasant hop finish; St. Arnold Divine Reserve No. 11: a Double IPA, a deep amber color with a light, creamy head; the first filter Divine Reserve; St. Arnold Divine Reserve No. 12: an Old Ale-style beer , an unfiltered beer inspired by David Roger's winning entry int the 2011 Big Batch Brew homebrew competition; and
St. Arnold's Divine Reserve No. 13: a Belgian Quadrupel style beer with a hint of fruit.
These special brews will be enjoyed with a plate of goodies that includes: Specialty Pretzels; Slices of Creminelli Sausage; Aged Cheddar; Fresh Strawberries; Dried Apricots, Cherries & Figs; Roasted Mixed Nuts; Dark Chocolate; Chocolate Brownie with Nuts; and Vanilla Bean Shortbread. $25; coupons and discounts cannot be applied to this class.
