From the focused classes on Friday and Saturday to the group vision and planning sessions on Saturday morning, EDGE13 is the pinnacle of district-level training and fellowship!On Friday night, our 3rd Annual Awards Celebration will feature district and national-level recognition for our local, section and district leaders who have gone above and beyond in their commitment to the Royal Rangers ministry. We will also be honoring all 2012-2013 GMA recipients as well as outposts and sections that have raised the bar over the past year and achieved success in mentoring future men. Bring your spouse and enjoy a hearty meal served to you in style! During the banquet we will be accepting the final Teen Challenge offering for our 2012-2013 Missions campaign. We’ve raised nearly $6,000 of our $10,000 goal. Let’s finish strong and bless Teen Challenge of Texas! Finally, make sure you don’t miss the “Coffee and Cookies” fellowship after the banquet -- giving you a chance to catch up with familiar faces and make new friends.Saturday morning will be the centerpiece of EDGE13! The district leadership team will share updates, plans and vision for 2013-14. Included in the discussion are the 2014 missions focus, junior and leader training plans, Powwow 2014 information and more. Throughout the conference, the district store will offer merchandise, patches, hats, shirts, curriculum and more.Vision and fellowship are important, but EDGE13 wouldn’t be complete without focused, relevant classes. Both Friday and Saturday feature a large selection of national and district continuous learning opportunities (CLO’s). Each class will feature “subject-matter experts” prepared to answer questions and encourage true understanding of the presented topics.Please NOTE that First Aid/CPR fee is in addition to the conference registration fee and meets the first aid requirements of the Safety Ticket in the OLAL.
