The Southwest Gem and Mineral Society will host the 52nd Annual Fiesta of Gems on March 16th and 17th, 2013. In addition to Club Exhibits, there will be silent auctions, childrens games, hourly door prizes, Grand Prizes, and demonstrations with how-to instruction. The show has moved to a NEW LOCATION due to its popularity and reputation. Ample parking is available at $3.00 per car (carpool and save). NEW LOCATION: San Antonio Event Center, 8111 Meadow Leaf Drive, San Antonio, TX 78227 March 16th (Saturday) 10:00 AM-6:00 PM and March 17th (Sunday) 10:00 AM-4:00 PM; ADULTS $5, SENIOR/MILITARY $3, STUDENTS W/ID $2, CHILDREN UNDER 12 $1. PARKING $3.00 (Carpool and Save) There will be 28 vendors offering books, gem samples, artistic creations, jewelry-making supplies,and fine jewelry. Food and drink will be available. NOTE: The Southwest Gem and Mineral Society is a Not-for-Profit organization and sponsors earth science scholarships in the local universities with a portion of your entry fee.
