Tobin Distinguished Lecture:
Sir Roy Strong presents The 20th-century Coronation and its Legacy

A leading expert in royal festivals and celebrations, Sir Roy Strong is an art historian, broadcaster, diarist, gardener, and writer, who has served as director of the National Portrait Gallery (1967–1973) and Victoria and Albert Museum (1974–1987), both in London. His talk focuses on the evolution of coronations in recent years and coincides with the exhibition Fiesta, Fête, Festival: Selections from the Tobin Collection.
