Introduction to Therapy Dog Training

This class will help acquaint you with different aspects of animal-assisted activities and help you develop the team skills required to pass the skills portion of the Therapy Animal Registrations process. Precise obediance skills are not required; however the handler must have control of their dog while visiting, including a reliable sit, down and stay. This will be a fun class that will heighten your dog's skill regardless of whether or not you become a therapy team.
