What can you do yourself to maintain your car as a woman? Don?t ever let a mechanic take advantage of charging you for something simple. We will be under the hood and inside a car during this hands-on class. Topics include how to lower your spare tire, what does it mean at the gas pump if you don?t have your tires property inflated, what should a woman do driving alone if she breaks down at night, what the sheriff recommends if we break down during the day, how to read your own car computer and what it should cost to fix in your geographic area.
As women, we drive our own cars and should be familiar with safety issues like the hazard created using cruise control when it is raining. You will learn how to read the numbers and letters on your tire to find out when it was made. You may have a new tire that is not new. As Rosie the Riveter said, We Can Do It!
