This past Summer I, a UIW student, worked with the non-profit organization, Invisible Children, as their Communications intern and am so excited to tell you about this event coming to our campus! Move to action and join me and the Invisible Children Southwest roadie team as we screen Invisible Children's newest documentary, MOVE. As Invisible Children says, "This is the story of a group of young dreamers trying to move the world, the chaos that followed, and what's next. It's a beautiful mess, a radical experiment, a defining moment." We are honored to be hosting them, along with a dear friend and survivor of the longest running war in Central Africa. She will be speaking of how the injustice has affected her life and the life of her family. This experience will be a unique and special human to human connection. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Caroline Garcia (210) 420-1564 firstname.lastname@example.org After all things KONY 2012, Invisible Children became a non-profit organization recognized globally in many different ways. This will be a perfect opportunity for you to get answers to any questions or concerns you may have. Stand for something and choose how our generation will be defined.
